The United States is close to finalizing a deal that would allow the United Arab Emirates to import 500,000 of Nvidia's most advanced AI chips each year starting in 2025, according to a report. The move is expected to support the UAE's efforts to expand AI data center infrastructure.
The deal is expected to last at least until 2027, with the possibility of being extended to 2030, Reuters reported, citing people familiar with the situation. Under the draft terms, 100,000 chips per year would go to UAE-based tech company G42.
