Melania Trump is stepping back into the spotlight with a move that surprised even people who follow her closely. She is launching her own production company called Muse Films and shared the news on November 28 with a short 10 second video on her personal X account.
The name feels deliberate since Muse was also her Secret Service code name. It hints at how personal this new chapter may be for her.

Her first major project is already making headlines. Amazon MGM Studios has reportedly paid forty million dollars for a documentary that covers the twenty days leading up to the 2025 Presidential Inauguration through her perspective as the incoming First Lady. Amazon MGM described the project by saying “MELANIA offers unprecedented access to the 20 days leading up to the 2025 Presidential Inauguration — through the eyes of the First Lady-elect herself.”

The studio added “Step inside Melania Trump’s world as she orchestrates inauguration plans, navigates the complexities of the White House transition, and reenters public life with her family. With exclusive footage capturing critical meetings, private conversations, and never-before-seen environments, MELANIA showcases Mrs. Trump’s return to one of the world’s most powerful roles.”
The documentary promises a level of access that most Americans never see and it will include planning sessions, candid conversations, and behind the scenes moments from an intense and historic stretch of time. The deal with Amazon also covers a multi episode series that will follow the documentary, which suggests the studio sees long term interest in her story and possibly the broader Trump orbit.

Brett Ratner will direct the film. This is notable because it marks his first project since past sexual assault allegations and controversies involving several well known figures. Ratner has denied the allegations but his return to a high profile project is sure to draw attention and debate.
For Melania Trump, Muse Films signals a new phase where she plays a more public and creative role. For viewers, it sets up a rare look inside a moment that usually unfolds behind tightly closed doors.
