Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, the envoys of the US president Donald Trump, landed in Moscow on Saturday to discuss proposals to end more than four years of war between Russia and Ukraine.

After talks in Moscow, the pair are expected to travel to Kyiv as part of Washington's latest bid to break a diplomatic stalemate.
