US Doors Direct Corporation: Building Strength from the Ground Up

Across industries, the demand for dependable infrastructure shapes how businesses build, operate, and grow. From humble beginnings to a growing footprint across domestic and international markets, US Doors Direct Corporation, co-founded by Alycia Barnard and Curtis Barnard, is carving a name for itself in the heavy-duty roll-up door industry while staying rooted in family values.

Barnard explains that the company was built from the ground up alongside her husband, starting with limited resources and a shared commitment to doing the work with consistency and precision. According to her, their combined experience of more than 30 years gave them the insight needed to approach the business with discipline. "We started with a very clear standard," she says. "If we were going to build something, it had to hold up over time. That meant being involved in every detail from the beginning."

Barnard notes that one of the defining characteristics of US Doors Direct is the way responsibilities are structured between the two co-founders. She says she leads on relationships, partnerships, and business development, while Curtis focuses on the operational and technical execution of the work.

"I take responsibility for building trust with our clients," Barnard explains. "Curtis takes responsibility for making sure everything we deliver meets that expectation. That connection between the relationship and the result is what defines how we operate."

According to her, this alignment has allowed the company to grow while maintaining consistency across its work. She emphasizes that every project reflects both sides of the business, from initial conversation through to final delivery.

US Doors Direct specializes in heavy-duty storage roll-up doors designed for commercial and industrial environments. Curtis Barnard highlights that their rolling steel heavy-duty doors are engineered to perform in demanding conditions where reliability is critical. "When a door fails, it affects more than one point of operation," he says. "It impacts security, workflow, and efficiency. That is why we approach every product with a very clear understanding of its role."

He adds that accessibility and flexibility are also important considerations in how their products are offered. According to Barnard, their rolling steel heavy-duty doors come with five standard color options at no additional cost, while their roll-up doors are available in 12 standard colors, also included without extra charges.

Beyond these primary products, Barnard says the company offers a broader range of solutions and accessories tailored to industries such as self-storage, warehousing, and commercial facilities. "Our experience shapes how we build and what we offer," she explains. "We understand where challenges arise, and we design around that."

Barnard believes that consistency has played a central role in the company's development. She says that maintaining the same standard across all projects has helped establish trust with clients and partners over time. "Reputation is built through repetition," she says. "You deliver at the same level again and again, and people begin to rely on that."

According to Curis Barnard, US Doors Direct has expanded its operations to include seven domestic and seven international locations, including Florida, California, and Georgia, supporting pickup and delivery services across a growing network. He explains that each location operates within the same framework of expectations and accountability.

He adds that the company is continuing to expand its international presence while remaining focused on building strong partnerships within the industry. Barnard notes that they are actively seeking to work with contractors, subcontractors, and construction professionals who share a similar approach to quality and execution.

"We are very intentional about who we work with," she says. "Strong partnerships create better outcomes, and those outcomes build long-term relationships."

Barnard emphasizes that the company's identity as a family-owned business continues to shape how it operates. She explains that this brings a level of personal accountability to every aspect of the work, influencing both internal decisions and external relationships.

"There is a level of ownership that comes with building something as a family," she says. "It affects how you show up, how you communicate, and how you follow through."

Looking ahead, Barnard says the company's focus remains on steady, structured growth supported by the same principles that guided its early development. "Growth only works when it is supported by consistency," she says. "You have to know exactly what you stand for and make sure every part of the business reflects that."

For Barnard, the long-term vision for US Doors Direct is rooted in maintaining that standard while continuing to build meaningful industry relationships. She says "We are building something that carries our name into every project and every partnership. That responsibility drives every decision we make, and it is what will continue to move us forward."
