US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin recently stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin has been unsuccessful in achieving any strategic objectives in the more than 1,000 days of war in Ukraine. Despite having the largest military in Europe, Russia's invasion of its smaller neighbor has not yielded the desired results.
Austin emphasized that Ukraine, despite its smaller size and capabilities, has managed to defend its sovereign territory effectively. This has showcased to the world that with commitment and adequate resources, a country can resist aggression even from a larger adversary.
