Williams highlighted the district's outstanding track record in handling complex cases such as sex trafficking, human trafficking, and labor trafficking. He emphasized the district's capability to tackle a wide range of challenging cases, stating, 'You name it, the Southern District of New York can do it.'
Responding to inquiries about why Combs was being prosecuted in New York despite search warrants being executed at his residences in Miami and Los Angeles, Williams affirmed that the district did not shy away from the scope and complexity of the investigation. Instead, he stated that they embraced such challenges and would continue to do so.
