The United States and Saudi Arabia have finalized a new agreement that could grant the kingdom the capacity for uranium enrichment within its civilian nuclear program.
U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright and Saudi Minister of Energy Abdulaziz bin Salman formally signed the nuclear cooperation pact, a 123 agreement, alongside what the administration at the time characterized as a "bilateral safeguards agreement."
