A popular US actor appeared almost totally unrecognisable as they stepped out with their former co-star at a red carpet premiere in Los Angeles.
Posing for snaps at the launch event for the brand-new Paramount+ show Wolf Pack, the famous star stood alongside Sarah Michelle Gellar as they reunited at the glitzy gala.
The 60-year-old heartthrob has enjoyed a truly glistening career since performing in their most well-known role – they also had a stint as a rock musician.
His long list of Hollywood credits includes P.S. I love You with Gerrard Butler and Hillary Swank, Smallville and Witches of East End and Runaways.
Fans could hardly believe it was Buffy The Vampire Slayer star James Marsters as he walked the carpet – looking totally different from his days at vampire Spike.
Sarah, his former on-screen lover who played the iconic role of Buffy, was all smiles in the premiere photographs as she joined James in front of snappers.
After his time on the beloved 90s series, James appeared in one of the leading roles in the spin-off series Angel, where many of the characters migrated.
As well as acting, he also worked in the music industry as the lead singer of Ghost of the Robot in 2003 – he also had a small role in Doctor Who spin-off Torchwood.
He married Patricia Jasmin Rahman and the couple went on to have a child together.
Hi co-star Nicholas Brendon, 51, who played Buffy's sidekick Xander Harris had been back in the news recently as he battles a condition that "paralyses his genitals and legs".
Back in March last year, his manager Theresa Fortier said that the actor wouldn't be attending the premiere of the new film Wanton Want.
"Right now he is concentrating on his health. He is not doing promotion for the film," she told MailOnline.
"This past week and a half, things have turned drastically worse. He is suffering from paralysis in his genitals and private parts."
She added: "Sadly, his condition means he needs surgical intervention for his increasing problems."
Last year he had to have surgery after he fell over on ice. Sharing an image of himself in a hospital bed, he posted: "If you're somewhere impacted with ice, be careful.
"With a rare condition and a slip a week ago, I'm having spinal surgery in 1 hour. May you be happy, may you be healthy, and may you be safe."
