A young girl has disappeared after looking "very distressed" when she was picked up by a car outside a pub in the West Midlands sparking an urgent appeal for information by police.
The 14-year-old girl was described as appearing very upset by people who saw her before she got into a grey SUV type car on Saltwells Road, in Dudley, around 7pm on Wednesday evening.
She was last seen getting inside the car outside The Woodman pub and now police are trying to identify the vehicle and its owner.
West Midlands Police stated: "We’re urgently appealing for information to trace a young girl who was last seen outside The Woodman pub in Dudley last night (23 June).
"Witnesses have described the girl as being very distressed before she got into a grey SUV type car on Saltwells Road at around 7pm.
"Enquiries continue in a bid to trace the car, its registered keeper and the driver."
Police have said that they hope someone will recognise the 14-year-old from CCTV images that have been published - she was seen wearing ripped blue jeans and a long-sleeved white top.
"We urgently need to make sure she is ok. We’re hoping someone will recognise the girl from this image captured on CCTV and get in touch," said a police statement.
"She is described as being around 14-years-old with dark brown hair and was last seen wearing ripped blue jeans and a long sleeved white top.
