People are searching for a Scots teen who has been missing overnight.
Enquiries are ongoing to locate John Farr, who is known to frequent the East Kilbride, Strathaven, Hamilton and Clydesdale areas. The 15-year-old was last seen around 6.35pm on Wednesday, September 21, near to the Common Green in Strathaven.
John is described as being white, 5'11" and of slim build, with curly brown hair. When he was last seen he wearing a black and white shirt, blue jeans and black and white Converse trainers.
Officers are urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to get in touch.
Sergeant Gary Mackie, East Kilbride Police Station said: “Officers have been carrying out significant enquiries since John was reported missing but so far he has not been located and no one has confirmed any sightings of him since leaving home.
"We would like to appeal to anyone who may be able to provide any information regarding John’s whereabouts or potential sightings that will assist us in tracing him.
"I would also ask John himself to get in contact with friends, family, support services or Police”
