A schoolgirl's family is becoming increasingly worried after she went missing one week ago.

Angel, 13, hasn't been seen since 7am on Tuesday, November 29, when she was last at her family home in Lambeth, South London.

The teenager's older sister Nadia posted on social media about her sibling's disappearance, writing that she is really missed.

She added that the family is concerned about her welfare and want her to return home to them.

Nadia tweeted: "I love Angel and miss her so much. I am very worried about her safety and welfare.

"I really miss her."

Police believe Angel was making her way to Wembley and could already be there, reports MyLondon.

In another post on social media, Angel's family said: "My little sister named Angel has been missing since Monday, November 29 at around 7am.

"The police are looking for her and she has still not been found."

Last night Nadia updated her social media, saying her sister was spotted by a member of the public in the Shepherd's Bush area over the weekend.

She said: "I want Angel home, please. LATEST is she was around shepherd's Bush yesterday and Saturday.

"Please circulate to anyone you know around HAMMERSMITH/SHEPHERDS BUSH/GOLDHAWK ROAD ETC......."

Police and Angel's family are urgently appealing to anyone who has information on her whereabouts.

She was last seen wearing a black leggings and a white top, according to her sister.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
