An urgent recall notice has been issued for a luxury chocolate sold in Ireland, including Dundrum Town Centre.
The Food Safety Authority of Ireland on Monday warned about certain batches of Hotel Chocolat Caramel Milk Batons. Hotel Chocolat have outlets in both Dundrum Town Centre and on Dublin's Henry street.
A spokesperson said: “The above batches of Hotel Chocolat Caramel Milk Batons may contain peanuts which are not declared in the list of ingredients. This may make the implicated batches unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of peanuts.”

Not only is the chocolate available to buy in stores, but can be purchased online. Consumers who have purchased Hotel Chocolat products are asked to check the label.
The affected batches have a pack size of 120g, batch codes 22286 and 22287, and best before dates of July 2023.
This is the latest food safety recall to be issued by the FSAI. Last week it recalled a Batch of Fortified Immunity Selenium Food Supplements that had passed their expiry date.
“United Drug Wholesale is recalling the above batch of Fortified Immunity Selenium food supplements due to distribution past the product's expiry date. Recall notices will be displayed at point-of-sale,” the FSAI said.
