Two photographs of Jamie have already been issued in the hopes of encouraging anyone who thinks they may have seen him to get in touch.

However, unfortunately, he is yet to make contact.

Officers are growing increasingly concerned for Jamie’s welfare and have today (Friday) issued another appeal as they continue their searches.

Detective Sergeant Simon Wardle of Northumbria Police has urged anyone who thinks they can help to come forward.

He said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for Jamie, as are his family and loved ones as this is completely out of character.
