Urgent police appeal to find missing girl who was last seen in north Manchester 24 hours ago

Police say they are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing girl who was last seen in north Manchester 24 hours ago.

The youngster, who police have named as Amelia, was last sighted on Delaunays Road in Crumpsall at around 4pm on Friday (16 June) wearing black Nike pro shorts and a grey top.

She is described as white female, 5ft 3, with mousey blonde hair and brown highlights in a bun. Police have launched an urgent appeal to try and find the missing teen.

They have released a picture of Amelia and are urging members of the public to help trace her, so they can ensure she is safe.

In a post on Twitter, Greater Manchester Police said: "Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about Amelia and want to make sure she is safe and well.

"Can you help us find missing Amelia? She was last seen at 4pm yesterday (Friday 16 June 2023) on Delaunays Road, Crumpsall.

"Anyone with information about Amelia's whereabouts should contact police on 101, quoting log number 4765-16062023."
