Police are appealing to the public in the search for a missing 15-year-old from Rochdale.

Leah Lakeman is thought to have travelled to Manchester city centre, but is also known to have links to Tameside and Stockport.

Officers say their priority is to ensure Leah is 'safe and well'. Members of the public with any information about her whereabouts are asked to get in touch with Greater Manchester Police (GMP).

In a tweet, GMP said: "#MISSING | We are becoming concerned for the welfare of 15-year-old Leah Lakeman from #Rochdale. Our priority is to make sure she is safe and well again.
