Police have issued an urgent appeal to trace a missing man who has not been seen for almost two days. James, 35, whose surname was not given, was last seen in the Ormskirk Road area at around 9pm on Friday (May 26).
Officers investigating want to make sure James 'is safe and well' and have shared photos of him as part of an appeal for information.
He is described as being around 5ft 10in tall, of a stocky build, with a bald head and ginger beard, and distinctive sleeve tattoo on his right arm.

He was was last seen wearing grey-and-black Nike trainers with yellow/green on them, black Under Armour jogging bottoms, black long-sleeved Canterbury T-shirt, black Under Armour baseball cap and a black bracelet.
Anyone with any information about James or his whereabouts is being urged to contact Greater Manchester Police immediately.
