Police have launched an urgent appeal after a 15-year-old girl went missing in Manchester.
The teenager, named only as Taylor, was last seen near Chorlton High School in the south of the city at around 1pm on Tuesday.
Officers have launched an extensive search and have asked for the public's help locating her.
Taylor is described as a white female, who is around 5ft 5ins tall with blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a coat with black leggings.
Police said they are becoming “increasingly concerned” for the well being of Taylor, who is thought to have links across south Manchester.
Manchester Evening News reported that Greater Manchester Police has issued an image of Taylor as part of their appeal and is urging anyone who may have any sightings of Taylor, or know any information about her whereabouts, to report it immediately.
Anyone who has any information is asked to contact GMP on 101. Information can also been passed via the website: www.gmp.police.uk or anonymously through the independent charity - Crimestoppers - on 0800 555 111.
The force is also looking for a missing girl from Stockport.
Payton was last seen in Stockport town centre on Wednesday and officers are keen to ensure that she is “safe and well”.
Payton was last seen wearing blue skinny jeans, a black top, a grey jacket and white trainers.
According to missingpeople.org.uk, 170,000 people are reported missing in the UK every year – the equivalent of one every 90 seconds.
More than 70,000 of those are children, of whom 90% will be found within 48 hours, although 2% will be missing for longer than a week.
