Ohio State head coach Ryan Day has a lot riding on his team’s performance against Michigan on Saturday beyond a possible berth in the College Football Playoff.
After losing The Game to the Wolverines the last two years in a row, there are many around the sport wondering if Ohio State would actually consider a head coaching change if that streak reached three straight losses to its bitter rival.
The interested parties apparently now includes Texas A&M athletic director Ross Bjork. During Fox’s Big Noon Kickoff show ahead of Ohio State-Michigan on Saturday, Bruce Feldman reported Day would attract a Texas A&M offer if he hits the open market.
That’s a big “if” for sure, and former Ohio State head coach — and current Fox Sports analyst — Urban Meyer wasn’t having any of it.

Naturally, all of this speculation is first subject to Michigan beating Ohio State on Saturday. If the Buckeyes get exposed in a bad loss, any and everything will be on the table in Columbus.
That much we can absolutely believe.
