Updated Wide Receiver depth chart for the Las Vegas Raiders following Davante Adams trade

The Raiders have completed their trade for Davante Adams as they now have arguably the NFL’s best receiver on the roster. But what does their wide receiver depth chart look like now after the trade? Take a look:

1. Davante Adams
2. Hunter Renfrow
3. Bryan Edwards
4. Mack Hollins
5. Javon Wims
6. Dillon Stoner
7. D.J. Turner
8. Tyron Johnson

The starting spots and jobs for Adams, Renfrow and Edwards are all set in stone. Mack Hollins is expected to compete for the No. 4 receiver job, but his main role will be on special teams. Wims, Stoner, Turner and Johnson will all be competing for a spot on the 53-man roster.

The Raiders could use a more established No. 4 receiver, especially if they can stretch the field. However, it seems unlikely they will use any of their limited draft capital to find one and there aren’t many great options available in free agency.

Could the Raiders try to convince DeSean Jackson to come back for one more year? It’s possible. Or maybe someone like Marquise Goodwin or Albert Wilson would want to come on a cheap one-year deal.

But no matter what the Raiders end up doing the rest of the way in free agency and in the NFL Draft, this is one of the best groups of weapons in the league when you factor in Darren Waller (and Foster Moreau).
