An Irvine town centre lane will stay closed for most of this month.
North Ayrshire Council look set to finish their revamp of the former Kings Arms pub on the town's High Street in the coming weeks.
The council is in the process of 'complex service disconnections' and asbestos removal to transform the crumbling watering hole into six new homes.
It is expected the demolition of part of the rear of the former boozer will be finished soon and will not impact the front section of the building facing the High Street.
Adjacent Chapel Lane will be reopened before the end of April after being closed for six weeks following delays after storms caused further damage to the building.
A spokesman for North Ayrshire Council said: "We apologise for any inconvenience caused and are seeking to progress the demolition works as quickly as possible in order to reopen the lane."
