Update: Dry Runway And No Cross-Wind Conditions At Pearson Airport

Following the recent crash at Toronto Pearson Airport, airport fire chief Todd Aitken provided an update on the conditions of the runway. While Aitken refrained from commenting on the ongoing investigation, he did share important details about the runway.

According to Aitken, the runway at the time of the incident was dry, indicating that weather conditions were not a contributing factor to the crash. Additionally, he mentioned that there were no cross-wind conditions present, which could have potentially impacted the landing of the aircraft.
