New Delhi: Several women injured in a stampede during a religious event at Shatabdi Nagar in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut on Friday.
According to Dynamite News correspondent, as per the information, special arrangements were not made to handle the huge crowd that gathered for the'Mahapuran Katha'.
The incident occurred when women were trying to enter the venue.

The incident occurred around 1pm when private security personnel deployed at the venue tried to stop women from entering.
Friday was the sixth day of the relegiuos event. Around one lakh people have been coming daily to attend the event. Further details are awaited.
