Lucknow: The Yogi government has transferred as many as 16 IPS officers overnight. Lucknow Police Commissioner SB Shiradkar has been shifted as Additional Director General of Police, Lucknow Zone. Prayagraj Police Commissioner Ramit Sharma has been made Additional Director General of Police of Bareilly Zone while Tarun Gaba will take over as Prayagraj Police Commissioner, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
Besides, Prashant Kumar is posted as IG Range Lucknow; Vidyasagar Mishra has been made Superintendent of Police, Rampur; Additional Director General of Police of Lucknow Zone Amarendra Kumar Sengar has been shifted as Police Commissioner, Lucknow.
Bareilly's Additional Director General of Police Prem Chand Meena has been made CMD Police Housing Corporation; Additional Director General of Police, Lucknow Vinod Kumar Singh has been sent to the Cyber Crime Department.
Rajesh Dwivedi has been made SP Kumbh Prayagraj while Yamuna Prasad will now be DCP Noida.
Beside the officers looking after the responsibility of Railways, Special Security Force and Traffic have also been transferred.
