Untouched Coronation Chocolates Found After 121 Years In Original Tin

The bottom of a tin containing Cadbury's chocolates, made to celebrate the coronation of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra on June 26, 1902, before they go up for sale by auction at Hanson's Auctioneers in Etwal, Derbyshire, with a guide price of £100-£150. The special tin of Cadbury's vanilla chocolates was given to nine-year-old Mary Ann Blackmore by her Durham school and treasured them as a memento of an important royal occasion for her entire life, until her death at the age of 96 in 1988.
