Kalvin Phillips has ended his love affair with Leeds United by joining Premier League champions Manchester City. Leeds expect to receive a fee of £42million plus a further £3million in add-ons as Phillips joins City on a six-year contract.
The England international, who becomes Leeds' highest ever sale, made 234 appearances for the Whites - registering 13 goals and 13 assists across eight seasons at Elland Road. He was a crucial cog in the system under Marcelo Bielsa and played an integral role in guiding them to the Championship title in 2019.
Phillips was and is still a loved figure at Leeds but here is what those at his new club Man City have had to say about him on Twitter.
