After an incredible gauntlet of games (though not quite the longest ever seen at ALGS), APAC North team UNLIMIT won the 2026 Apex Legends Global Series Split 1 Playoffs at the Esports World Cup in Paris.
UNLIMIT have ruled ALGS Split 1 Playoffs after 10 grueling matches. With a gauntlet of matches and over half of the lobby at match point, it all came to an end on World’s Edge with a tense final ring.

In an emotional end to the series, Peace was also awarded MVP, a well-deserved award for the Japanese player.
Lost opportunities for Sentinels
While the crowd chanted “one more game”, Sentinels almost snatched a victory in Match 7 on World’s Edge. UNLIMIT saved the lobby from an early end, though a three-way battle with Team Falcons and Team RRQ almost handed Sentinels the win.
A few other teams spent a huge chunk of the final day on match point, with Team Vision gaining an early lead alongside Sentinels, and Team Liquid, Falcons, and Zedi Esports close behind.
Unwittingly at the time, UNLIMIT had saved their own victory down the road though they had a slower start at the beginning of the block.

When the ring closed, every team was on match point, leading to an inevitable but nonetheless tense finale. On a tall rock just outside of Monument, the city that dominates the center of World’s Edge, UNLIMIT took on Zeta Division and Wolves Esports, all teams from APAC regions.
Earlier in the weekend’s Group Stage, UNLIMIT were able to just barely avoid being sent to the Survivor’s Stage with 106 points, just ahead of Virtus.Pro.
