With results day well underway, many future uni students will be getting a better idea of what their prospects are and which university they want to attend.
While many students will have already received offers from their chosen universities, others may be going through the clearing process or have been waiting to receive their A level results before making the ultimate final decision for their education.
To help you make a more informed decision around where you're going to spend the next four years or more in education, we've compiled the top 100 universities in the UK, according to the latest Guardian league table.

Each year the Guardian compiles a list of the top universities based on a range of factors including student satisfaction with courses and teaching, money spent, student to staff ratios, how many students continue in their studies and career prospects. Each university is given a score out of 100 based on this research and the institutions are then ranked in order.
The top university this year is the University of Oxford closely followed by the University of Cambridge. In third place is St Andrews in Scotland, followed by the London School of Economics, both of which have scores above 90.
