During a court session on Tuesday morning, video footage from the University of Georgia campus safety camera system was shown as evidence. The video captured a man in dark clothing and a hood walking around the building where a 24-year-old doctoral student at the University of Georgia resided. The student had testified in court about a suspicious individual peeking into her apartment and attempting to open her front door on the same day that Laken Riley was tragically killed.
Sgt. Sophie Raboud from the University of Georgia police department provided testimony and mentioned that additional street camera footage would be presented. This footage was expected to show Laken Riley and her friends searching for her after she went missing.
