Universal Credit payments are rising next month - but how much you get will vary.
This is because Universal Credit is made up of a standard allowance - which is different if you are under or over 25 and either single or in a couple - plus a number of additional amounts if you have children, a disability or health condition, or caring responsibilities.
The new rates apply from April 11, however, any increases to Universal Credit will be quickly eaten up by the rising cost of living.
