Universal Credit, PIP and housing benefit payments set to rise following Government approval

Universal Credit

A host of benefit payments, including Universal Credit and PIP, are set to rise following approval from MPs.

MPs approved plans to increase Universal Credit and other benefits, including housing, by 3.1 percent.

A vote at the House of Commons saw the changes pass by 298 votes to 29. The rules will come in effect from April 11.
