People who claim Universal Credit and other forms of benefit from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) could be eligible for a £1,200 bonus.
It's thought around 500,000 households may now be eligible for Universal Credit when they weren't before, thanks to changes introduced to the taper rate and work allowance rules in November 2021.
But some are still unaware of the Help to Save scheme which helps those claiming benefits boost their savings by 50 percent - although it's not available to everyone, the Manchester Evening News reports.
