An Edinburgh shop is now searching for a new owner after years of selling weird and wonderful antiques.
The site at 23 Grassmarket has now been put up for rent, with the property having not only an ideal location for shoppers and tourists, but also a view of Edinburgh Castle that's pretty impressive.
Staring right across to Castle Rock and the monument itself, the small retail unit had been occupied by 'Iconic', an antiques and art store. Often opening at unusual times and catching the eyes of passers by with their crowded and colourful window display, the shop was around for years before it eventually closed in 2020 during the pandemic.

Vacant since then, the shop has now been cleared out and put back on the market, with agents hoping a new tenant will be taken in by the "exceptional footfall" which passes every year.
Coming fitted with the main retail space and a small bathroom at the back of the shop, the site has a huge front window that boast views of the castle and Grassmarket itself.
Advertised at a cost of £917 per month, a description read:
"The property lies within Edinburgh's Old Town conservation area, in the heart of the world famous Grassmarket. Edinburgh itself plays host to millions of visitors each year, with the Grassmarket being one of its primary tourist attractions.
