Unionists will not accept a joint authority arrangement in Northern Ireland with the involvement of the Republic of Ireland, DUP leader Sir Jeffrey Donaldson has said.
Earlier this week, Ireland’s premier Micheal Martin said there cannot be direct rule from Westminster in the event of powersharing not being restored at Stormont this week.
