Unearthed photographs taken in the 1980s offer an intriguing insight into one teenager's life, fashions and hangouts in Liverpool during the era.
Roberta Weldon, now 53, is originally from Walton but moved away from Liverpool in 1993. As a young teenager and aspiring photographer, she used to take photos of her friends around Liverpool.
Roberta, better known as Bobby to her friends, spoke to the Liverpool Echo about her early teenage years and what it was like growing up in the city at the time. Speaking from her home in Cornwall, Roberta said: "I got very influenced by the music scene when I was about 13 or 14. It was things like Boy George and the New Romantics.
