A player on The Chase had a huge comeback as he twisted his gameplay for the better.
Host Bradley Walsh welcomed Rob, Clare, Ben and Lisa to the ITV quiz show. Collectively they took on Anne 'The Governess' Hergerty in a bid to win a cash prize after testing their wits.
First up was 39-year-old police officer, Rob. His cash builder round wasn't looking promising as he repeatedly yelled out "pass" and answered only four questions correctly.

But in an unpredictable turn of events, the player decided to take a risk and go high. He accepted the offer of £20,000 from the chaser as he said he might as well since he was there already.
In a tense game, the law enforcer managed to make it back to the team securing a place in the final - adding a whopping £20,000 to the final round prize pot.
Anne, Bradley and his fellow teammates were more than impressed at the miraculous turnaround in gameplay. Bradley said he "underperformed" in the cash builder round but went on to blow it out of the water. Anne added: "I wasn't impressed with your cash builder but I was impressed when you went high."
But to get his hands on a cut of the cash, he needed his teammates to do well too. Next up was Clare, who answered five questions correctly in the cash builder and went on to play for a middle offer of £5,000. She joined Rob with a place in the final before Ben took centre stage.
Ben was third to play and managed to add another £4,000 to the prize pot. And finally Lisa added £1,000, meaning that all four players were in the final with £30,000 to play for.
Sadly it wasn't enough and after four pushbacks, the team were caught by the Chaser with eight seconds remaining. They went home with nothing.
