'Unauthorised' Parliament march will face action, says Delhi Police amid reports of CJP's proposed protest

Delhi Police on Sunday said no permission has been sought or granted for a proposed march to Parliament on July 20, warning that anyone participating in an unauthorised procession or assembly in the New Delhi district will face legal action as the Monsoon Session of Parliament begins.

"In view of reports of a proposed march to Parliament by CJP on 20th July, tomorrow, Delhi Police clarifies that no permission has been sought or granted for any such protest march/procession. Prohibitory order under Section 163 BNSS (erstwhile section 144 CrPC) is in force in the New Delhi District," said Delhi Police.
