United Nations chief Antonio Guterres on Thursday strongly condemned North Korea's firing of what could be its largest-ever intercontinental ballistic missile and urged Pyongyang to "desist from taking any further counter-productive actions," his spokesman said.
The launch was "another breach" of North Korea's "announced moratorium in 2018 on launches of this nature, and a clear violation of Security Council resolutions," Stephane Dujarric said in a statement.
