Ukrainian family given mouldy Lanarkshire flat to stay in after fleeing war

A family who fled the war in Ukraine has been housed in a dirty flat which had an old nappy in the fridge.

Valeria Liukovych, 31, brought her child, husband and severely disabled father to be with her mother, Tamara.

They arrived on Sunday and were supposed to move into a council flat in Rutherglen, but it was too filthy.
