Ukraine is bracing for a new Russian offensive in the north early next year, according to one of the country’s top military commanders.
Major General Andrii Kovalchuk, a senior Ukrainian military officer, warned that Vladimir Putin’s forces could launch a fresh attack after failing to capture large swathes of territory in the country earlier this year.
