Ukrainian forces have executed a significant cross-border raid into Russia's Kursk region, marking a notable escalation in the ongoing conflict. The incursion, the largest of its kind by Kyiv's forces, has exposed vulnerabilities in Russia's defenses and dealt a substantial blow to the Kremlin.
The attack unfolded as Ukrainian troops poured into the Kursk region from multiple directions, swiftly overwhelming Russian border guards and infantry units along the frontier. Utilizing well-coordinated mobile groups and advanced tactics, Ukrainian forces managed to penetrate up to 35 kilometers into Russian territory, bypassing fortifications and causing panic in the region.
