Ukraine hammers Russia with more drone strikes – despite Trump’s criticism

  • Ukraine launched over 1,000 drones targeting Russian infrastructure, setting oil terminals ablaze in St Petersburg , killing one person and injuring five.
  • The drone strikes followed the US resuming intelligence sharing with Kyiv , for which Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his gratitude.
  • In response, Russia launched at least 76 strikes targeting Ukraine's energy, oil, and gas sectors within 24 hours.
  • Donald Trump strongly criticised the Ukrainian attacks on Russian oil refineries.
  • The US president described them as a disgrace and accused Zelensky of prolonging the war.
