Another Russian assault in eastern Ukraine near the village of Tonenke in Donetsk has been met with determined resistance from Ukrainian forces. Russia's goal appears to be testing Ukrainian defenses for weaknesses and straining their capabilities ahead of reported upcoming summer offensive operations. Despite immense losses, Russia has been able to replenish its front-line forces at a significant rate, with military industries working around the clock to produce tanks, drones, and guided bombs.
