KOCHI: As the final leg of the evacuation of Indian medical students from war-torn Ukraine neared its conclusion, nearly 400 Malayali students –who were picked up from Sumy State University– heaved a sigh of relief as they reached a safe zone 1,000km away from the war zone.
It is learnt that the students will cross the border after completing formalities. Embassy officials have made arrangements for their food and accommodation at the Indian camp in Poland. On Thursday, they will fly to Delhi in special flights and an IAF aircraft.
