Foreign Secretary Liz Truss flew to Moscow on Wednesday and demanded that Russia must “immediately withdraw” its forces massed on the border with Ukraine.

She urged President Vladimir Putin to find a diplomatic solution to the crisis, warning any invasion would be a “huge mistake”.
