Ten areas in the UK have been warned of a flood risk with heavy rain and thunder set to continue as the heatwave comes to an end.
The Met Office issued a yellow thunderstorm warning for most of the UK today, with conditions potentially causing more flash flooding as well as transport disruption and power cuts.
The warning will remain in place for southern England on Wednesday, where communities could be cut off by flooded roads, and the chance of fast-flowing or deep flood water could cause danger to life.
