Temperatures are expected to soar over the coming days with the mercury making some parts of the UK hotter than Spain or Ibiza.
Forecasters say temperatures will rise to a balmy 16C in the south east.
It is also predicted to be warmer than Istanbul where temperatures of only 3C are forecast.
The warm weather is expected to last until March 27 and the UK officially enters spring on Sunday with higher than usual temperatures.
BBC weather says it expects London and the South East of the country to remain around 14C or 15C as the dry sunny weather continues.
It means parts of the country are warmer than Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia in Spain.
They also match thermometers in Ibiza where 16C is expected tomorrow.
The Met Office reports it will be chilly tonight and on Friday morning.
"A largely dry evening, with patchy cloud and some sunny intervals before dusk.
"Skies becoming clear overnight with potentially extensive mist or fog patches developing toward dawn, mainly further west. Rather cold with light winds. Minimum temperature 1 °C."
The temperatures will start to rise throughout the day and a high of 16C is scheduled for parts of the UK tomorrow.
The Met Office forecast there would be a fair amount of sunshine around for many parts of the country.
Initially fog is forecast for tomorrow morning before giving way to clearer and warmer conditions coupled with warm sunshine
Charts state "Fog and low cloud steadily clearing to allowing plenty of sunshine in many areas, and feeling quite warm. Turning windy in the north and, later, in the far south.
The outlook for Saturday to Monday was very positive across the country and temperatures were expected to increase before giving way to cloud.
Forecasters said the weather would be: "Warm, settled and dry, with plenty of sunshine at first, although increasingly cloudy for many later."
A large high pressure system is expected bring warmer temperatures on Friday, but it will be cold initially.
The Mirror told how temperatures could reach 18C tomorrow in some places which will be the highest of the year so far.
But the rest of March remains changeable with the UK set to see the highest temperatures of the year so far with it reaching 18C on Friday but there is then an unsettled outlook for next week.
Claire Nasir of the Met Office told the Mirror earlier it is likely to be "very warm" over the weekend.
"Temperatures are on the up over the next few days you can see here most places will be fine and dry with some lovely sunshine," she continued.
