UK's 'perfect spots for Valentine's weekend' named as Edinburgh takes spot

The six UK spots 'perfect for a romantic Valentine’s weekend' have been revealed and a popular Scottish city is among them.

According to Sweetcombe Cottage Holidays, Edinburgh is one of the best destinations to spend with a loved one for the holiday. Other cities named include Bath, Portmeirion, and Devon.

The holiday rental site states that Google searches for "Valentines getaway" are already up 24 per cent compared with last year. People across the UK are looking for romantic destinations closer to home as the cost of living crisis continues.
