Actress and comedian Catherine Tate will deliver the United Kingdom's points in the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest.
The BAFTA winner will announce the results live from Liverpool's M&S Bank Arena, making it a first for the contest. Discussing her new role, Catherine said: "It’s very exciting to be announcing the iconic douze points at Eurovision. It’s just a foot in the door really as next year I hope to be the UK entrant."
Catherine follows in the footsteps of previous spokespeople which includes AJ Odudu, Amanda Holden, Nigella Lawson, Mel Giedroyc and Richard Osman along with numerous other famous faces.

The Doctor Who star will announce the jury scores before handing over to Hannah Waddingham, Graham Norton, Alesha Dixon and Julia Sanina who will deliver the televotes.
It will only be after both votes are combined that Eurovision 2023 will have its winner.
