UK’s controversial illegal migration bill set to become law

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s controversial illegal migration plan is set to become law after the government defeated attempts by parliament's upper house to make changes to the legislation.

The United Nations refugee agency (UNHCR) condemned the passage of the Illegal Migration Bill as a "breach of international law".
