UK passport holders may face major change when travelling to Europe

UK holidaymakers may soon be able to use e-gates again when entering the European Union.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has urged diplomats to raise the issue of British passport holders using the swift checking machine when entering the bloc. Mr Sunak is set to discuss the topic with the European Commission chief, Ursula von der Leyen, in June, Bloomberg reported.

If the application is successful, it will mean British travellers will face a much quicker and more efficient travel process.
